[RANK5=John Hyon Ko] Jon Fitch has been an elite staple of the welterweight division for more than a decade across multiple promotions.
At 40 years of age, many would postulate that he is in the twilight of his career yet the American Kickboxing Academy product is riding a four-fight win streak with victories over names like Jake Shields and Yushin Okami.
Feeling like he is still twenty, the former WSOF Welterweight Champion inked a deal with Bellator to join their stacked 170-pound division and his first call to task is Paul “Semtex” Daley at Bellator 199 in San Jose, California on May 12.
In this interview, Jon Fitch talks with John Hyon Ko about the progression of his work with MMAFA, having a lot of momentum going into Bellator 199, Paul Daley uncharacteristically not talking trash, appreciating the recognition he gets around the world, teammate Daniel Cormier being a class clown and more.
