[RANK5=John Hyon Ko] Bali MMA’s Youssef Wehbe is a Lebanese lightweight that competes for Phoenix Fighting Championship, one of the fastest rising promotions in the world.

Even though the former Desert Force 155-pound champion is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Alfie Davis in his promotional debut, he is very upbeat and positive about what the future holds. He learned a lot from that setback and takes those lessons into his next fight against Amin Ayoub at Phoenix FC 6 on April 5 in Abu Dhabi.

“The Silverback” spoke with John Hyon Ko about the advantages of training in paradise compared to North America, the injury he sustained in the first round in his last fight that limited his performance, still waiting to get paid by Battlefield Fighting Championship, the difficulties of having a Lebanese passport, taking baby steps to the Phoenix FC title and more.
